AN ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE GALACTIC AIRWAVES OF TOMORROW!!

My next big project is currently in development! I'm working on a full, half-hour animated pilot: Extraterrestrial Escapades! It's an adventure/sci-fi comedy about two aliens, Quincy and Gordo, and their many, many hijinks across the galaxy. It's full of heart, silliness, and absurdity. It's out-of-this-world insanity!

Now, this won't be fully animated, at least right away. I'm planning on just doing a completed animatic for this. But It'll have the voice talent, sound design, music...everything! It'll be a complete package in spite of the visuals.

I'm taking to heart a piece of advice the immensely talented Joanna Davidovich relayed to me while at Animation Y'all. She's had her own adventures animating her short "Monkey Rag" almost entirely herself. She told me that tagging along your audience with your projects/productions as they're being made is one of the best things you can do as an artist. Don't wait till you've got something nice and pretty! Engage with your audience, and keep them in the loop. So that's exactly what I'm gonna do! I will not shut up about this pilot until it's done, haha!

At the end of the day, I'm just a goofy guy who loves goofy cartoons. These characters and this pilot are a wholehearted tribute to funny animation and how it's impacted me. I hope you'll all join me on this new frontier, and enjoy the pilot once it's all finished!
